Do you long to see positive change in Native American communities? Well, Indigenous Peoples Day Philly (IPD Philly) has several opportunities for qualified individuals to join our team! Postings range from recurrent volunteer positions to internships.

VOLUNTEER WITH US


Writers, Editors, Visual Storytellers, and Grant Writer Assistants (3 to 6 months) (Volunteer, Internship, or Pro-Bono)

General Internship (3 to 6 months) (Unpaid Internship or Work-Study)

We are always in need of a hand. In the application, you can select some of the available areas where we need assistance. This position requires at least 5-15 hours a week with a commitment ranging from 3 to 6 months. The position can also be arranged as a work-study opportunity. (UNPAID OR PAID). Board Member (Volunteer)

IPD Philly is looking for Native American / Indigenous Person / Indigenous Descent to build our organization and further our mission. We are currently accepting nominees for the Board of Directors nomination process. This position requires about 5-10 hours a month with a commitment of two years. (VOLUNTEER). Web and Graphic Designer Assistant (Volunteer or Pro-Bono)

The Media Team is seeking a recurrent volunteer or pro-bono professional who has some experience in this field.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow as part of a small media team working collectively to upkeep the website and Facebook page.

Qualifications: 4+ yrs of experience working on Word Press with Elementor.
Familiar with using Canva design tools.

We ask for a commitment for a minimum of 6 months, and 2-3 hours a week. The position can be renewed. (VOLUNTEER OR PRO-BONO)

Campaign Assistant (Volunteer or Pro-Bono)

The Executive Team is seeking a recurrent volunteer or pro-bono professional who has some experience in this field.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow as part of the CAMPAIGN TEAM.

Qualifications: 2+ yrs of community organizing in-person and virtually.
Familiar with using Zoom, Google apps, and Airtable. Assistant(s) will be helping the Action Community Team and other aspects of the Educational Awareness Campaign. Familiar with using Zoom, Google apps, and Airtable.

We ask for a commitment for a minimum of 6 months, and 2-3 hours a week. The position can be renewed. (VOLUNTEER OR PRO-BONO)
