As IPD PHILLY continues building momentum for the Reinstate Indigenous Peoples’ Day Now Campaign and preparing for the 10th Anniversary of Indigenous Peoples’ Day Philly, we are excited to grow our team. POSITION: Canvassing & Community Outreach Organizer
This position will support petition outreach, tabling events, canvassing efforts, and volunteer recruitment throughout the city. The organizer will help collect signatures, educate community members about the campaign, and train volunteers to effectively engage the public.
Compensation: ~$3,300 at ~5-6 hours per week at $22 per hour

POSITION: Community Organizer
The Community Organizer will work closely with our Action Community Team (ACT) to strengthen grassroots outreach, mobilize supporters, and help advance efforts to permanently reinstate Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Philadelphia. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement, coalition building, and social justice organizing.
Compensation: ~$3,750 for a total of 150 hours at $25 per hour

POSITION: Communications, Fundraising & Admin Assistant
This position will support communications, fundraising initiatives, administrative coordination, and digital outreach efforts for the organization. The assistant will help strengthen supporter engagement, manage organizational communications, and assist with campaign and development projects.
