Trinity Norwood is IPD Philly’s Board of Directors Cofounder and served as the Secretary of the Board from 2019-2021. She is a citizen of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation in New Jersey. Trinity Norwood is also the director of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation’s “Royalty Program,” which grooms teenage girls and boys for selection by a panel of tribal elders to serve as goodwill ambassadors for the tribe.  Having served two terms as the reigning tribal princess, Ms. Norwood also reorganized the tribal youth council, “New Dawn,” serving as its president for several terms and now assists as a chaperone for the organization.  She is an alternate delegate for her tribe to the National Congress of American Indians and serves as a cultural educator and presenter through her outreach initiative, “Native New Jersey.”
