Nikki Kalani Apana (Native Hawaiian Descent) was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, the original land of the Muwekma Ohlone and the Bay Miwok. She received her B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University. She is currently serving with National Health Corps Philadelphia as a Patient Care Coordinator at Girard Medical Center. Nikki is of Native Hawaiian descent and enjoys dancing hula and ori tahiti. Since moving to Philadelphia, she has joined IPD Philly to get more involved in the local Indigenous community and help increase awareness of Indigenous history and resilience.
