Welcome to Indigenous Peoples’ Day Philly 2023 which aired from Shackamaxon (Penn Treaty Park), Monday October 9th, 2023!
Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Philly 2023 was a celebration of Indigenous communities in Philadelphia and beyond. This event combined traditional and contemporary indigenous art, music, dance, and food to increase awareness of Indigenous issues. The festivities also served as an opportunity to discuss the strengths and history of the First Peoples of Americas. This was an in-person and livestream event.
